Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS)

As you probably already know, the UC Santa Cruz campus is a unique environment that covers over 2,000 acres, where academic and housing structures mingle with redwood forests and open meadows. Our many transportation systems enable students to get around (on and off) campus safely and efficiently while being ecologically responsible and preserving the natural beauty of the campus. Transportation and Parking Services provides and manages access to UC Santa Cruz and oversees the planning, design, operation, and management of facilities and programs associated with parking and alternative forms of transportation. TAPS manages the parking sales office, campus transit, bicycle programs, car-sharing programs, and vanpool programs. Visit the Information for Parents of Students page to learn more.

Visit the TAPS information for new students page to learn about parking permit options.
