The Colleges

The Colleges at UC Santa Cruz are vibrant, creative, learning communities which support student development, and academic success. All undergraduate students, whether they live in university housing or not, are affiliated with a college. In addition to housing students in small-scale residential communities, each college provides curriculum and academic support, produces student activities, and sponsors events that enhance the intellectual and social life of the campus.

Every college community includes students from diverse backgrounds and academic goals. A student's college affiliation is independent of their choice of major.
