Tips to Pass on to Your Student:

• Be engaged and complete the Orientation Course by the deadlines.
• Review the Academic Calendar (UCSC website): All the deadlines for enrollment procedures and purposes are listed on this calendar.
• Frequently check their UCSC email (once or twice a week) and their MyUCSC student portal: Students are responsible for responding to all communications sent by the university.
  
• Get involved in clubs and organizations.
